In my humble opinion, a perfect role for you would be “secret mastermind who runs the show” in a period gangster movie with occult overtones. For example, you are a moll to the local syndicate big shot, who has come down with some sort of illness, and he asks you to cover for him with the boys. You do, and the thugs under your boss do what you say grudgingly at first but soon come to respect you. Meanwhile your man the main gang guy, has passed away, dramatically and violently while you watched and his last words led you to believe that he was killed intentionally (somehow, a curse? poison?) and you swear revenge. But the boys really wont follow you when they find out the boss is dead, so you have to do some deft manuvering in order to keep your army from dissolving into civil war over who will be the new boss. Meanwhile you do some elaborate smoke and mirrors job ont hem to convince them the boss was just here, he must have just stepped out of the room, any way he wants you guys to go and… etc etc which can be a ripe source of visually stunning tomfoolery if you put your mind to the potentials inherent in our hero lady’s situation. You get closer you your goal of vengeance, perhaps a manic new gangland leader is trying to move in and establish dominance, thwarted by you now, as he/she also believes his/her attempt on your boys life was a failure. so maybe now he sends his undead minions to finish up only to find you with your now quite in the palm of your hand soldiers waiting for him, ready, with trap in place.
